Some Milestones We Just Don’t Look Forward To

With each baby I’ve had, there were certain milestones I would look forward to.  While each child hits their milestones at different times in their development, and in different ways, the milestones are still a sure thing I can count on as a Mother.

In the beginning, we wait anxiously for the first tooth, the first time the new baby sleeps through the night or rolls over.  We smile when they lift their head for the first time, and we cheer them on when they begin to crawl – even the beginning crawl that resembles an earthworm as your baby inches its way across the floor.

As all Mothers know, every moment with your children is precious and time moves fast, too fast.  Before you know it, your baby is cooing their first word and eating their first “solid” food of puréed fruit and cereal mush.   Too soon you’re holding their tiny hands in your own while you encourage their first steps.  Eventually you’re teaching them how to ride a bike, and tearfully dropping them off for their first day of school.

One milestone I’ve never looked forward to as a Mom is the first cold.  When our children are sick it’s tough as a Mom because all we want is to make them feel better, to soothe and comfort, and often there is nothing we can do to make them better.  All we can do is hold them when they cry and comfort them when they don’t feel well.

Fortunately, I discovered the Little Remedies line of cold medications, products made specifically for infants and children.  Their products are made with the fewest and most natural ingredients and are effective in helping my children feel better when they’re sick, and get well more quickly.  Little Remedies products do not contain any artificial flavors, artificial colors, or alcohol.  As their tagline says, “Little Remedies.  Everything they need.  Nothing they don’t.”

When my children are down with a cold and suffering from a cough, I turn to Little Remedies Honey Cough Syrup to help them feel better so they can get more rest. The cough syrup soothes them through the worst of the cough until they are feeling better again.

And as a Mom, I can rest assured they’re not ingesting anything harmful.  That’s important to me.  I want to know that the cough syrup I’m giving my child is safe, yet effective.

The next time your children have a cough, I recommend Little Remedies Honey Cough Syrup.
